Whenever You will click on the “mask” Icon, Your smartphone will send Your position to the centralised server, so that it will be able to alert you if in the same moment (- from 1 hour before to 1 hour after) there were potentially infected people in the same area. Whenever your smartphone connects to the system (clicking on the mask icon), you will be notices wether your status is still green (not likely to be infected) or changed into yellow (possible infection) or red (very likely to be infected) according to your past proximity to infected people.
Typical places where to signal your position are (examples):
- When you are waiting to catch a mean of transport (plane, train, bus, tram, etc...)
- When you go to the market, supermarket, etc...
- When you enter a Bar, Restaurant, etc...
- When you enter the swimming pool, gymn, sport club, etc...
- When you get back home in the evening (to track interactions among Family members)
- When you enter a Public place (Stadium, Arena, University, High/Primary School, Tribunal, Commune, Chamber of Commerce, etc...)
- Whenever you feel the situation around you is “too crowded” (square, street, walking path, sport event, etc...)
